Garner Police Issue Missing Child Alert - Tuesday, January 03, 2006 at 13:54

Garner Police are currently investigating the disappearance of a 14yo female from her home at 115 Villavista Trace in Garner.  According to police reports, Karla Guadulupe Martinez was last seen on December 27th at around 8:00am.  She is believed to be in the company of 25yo "Rey" David Rosas.  Rosas is not known to have a vehicle but investigators believe the two are possibly traveling to Mexico.

"Based on the information we received during our investigation, we believe that she went with him (Rosas) voluntarily." said Investigator Scott Selvek.  "At this point, we do not have any reason to believe that she is in any immediate danger."

Karla Martinez is described as an Hispanic female, 5'4 and 115lbs.  She has brown, shoulder length hair and hazel eyes.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Garner Police Department at 919.772.8810.  A copy of the missing person flyer can be found here.

For more information, contact Sergeant Joe Binns at 919.773.6077 (office) or 919.795.3605 (cell)
