Fourteen families with a total of 30 children participated in this year’s event. The party began with lunch for the families, face painting with Mimi the Clown, and a visit from Santa Claus. (full story) 100th DWI Arrest Made by Traffic Safety Task Force - Monday, December 07, 2009 The Wake County Traffic Safety Task Force conducted Booze It and Lose It nighttime traffic safety checkpoints on December 4th and 5th and made its 100th DWI arrest for the year. Checkpoints were run in Knightdale and Cary to kick off the four week Booze It and Lose It campaign that ends January 3, 2010. During Booze It and Lose It, stepped-up enforcement and checkpoints are being conducted across the state.
